EastEnders' Dawn Swann is apparently set for a hen night of horror - to which she will be completely oblivious.
The soap's single mum - played by Kara Tointon - is delighted to have found love again with Jason Dyer and downs champagne as she dreams of wedded bliss with her girlfriends, completely unaware her husband-to-be has been murdered.
Dawn is left waiting at the registry office until best friend Garry Hobbs arrives to deliver the devastating news that Jase has been tortured and killed by local gangsters.
Kara, 25, told the Daily Star: "Dawn thinks Garry is going to try to stop the wedding because he is still in love with her."
Garry - played by Ricky Groves - can't find a way to break it to Dawn that the man she loves is dead. He keeps trying but can't find the right way to tell her.
Kara revealed: "Eventually he tells her Jase is dead and Dawn is in shock."
