Make up on children

What are your views on make up on children?

I dont mind seeing a little girl with nail varnish on as long as its suttle but I hate seeing them with eye shadow and mascara etc.

They are a short time a kid and a long time an adult.

i don't think it is right to put a small child in make up.....

I wouldnt let eliza wear make up day to day, but she does have play make up, she dont have a clue how it goes on anyway and ends up looking like a clown lol, however a year ago she had a ballet and tap show and she had to wear make up for that, the make up they asked us to use i did not agree with - blue eyeshadow, red lipstick, foundation and black eyeliner, i refused to put eyeliner or foundation on her she was just 4 years old, a 4 year old really dosnt need eye liner or foundation, but it was for the stage so she did have make up on.

Deans step daughter used to come at 10 to see us completely dolled in make up, used to wind me up sooo much!
