Eliza had yesterday off schol, she was poorly the day before, she came home from school in tears because her throat and tummy hurt, then she was sick all night, we came downstairs during the night and she screamed at me that she wanted the lights off as her head hurt, I was so scared I though she had meningitis - as I have had it myself I know how painful it is and would hate my kids to get it, but thankfully she actually didnt have a temperature, I kept my eye on her and she was ok yesterday, so she has gone back to school today. she was screaming at me yesterday morning when i phoned the school to tell them she wouldnt be in, she was desperate to go!! bless her! but she's all better now!

My cousin, Stacy, died from meningococcal meningitis just after her 1st birthday Sad no one knew what was wrong with her as it was relatively unheard of at the time. She was one of the first children in the Midlands to get it Sad She would be 22 now Sad
When Liam was younger I used to worry myself sick over maybe he may get it but as long as its caught early enough its treatable.

Im glad Eliza is feeling better now x
